Every day :D

When I go outside in the yard, I see the Audi 80. For me it is a shape that I will never forget. I like how this car looks, I ma crazy about this car. Now it is used by my parents, they are very happy with it. My mother had a few issues at the beginning, she considered this car a little bit to sporty for her, but only for a few rides. Now she enjoys the confort and the stability of this great machine.

Now the car looks even more fantastic than it looked a few years ago. Last year, before I put it in the garrage for a longer period, I took the car to a guy to fix the rusty parts on the back wings. I didn't wanted to let it with rust, because I had no idea how long it will stay in the garrage. So the only few rusty parts on the back were fixed, painted and now looks brand new. Also we changed the arks from the back and the telescopes. Now the butt of the car is a little bit higher than it used to be.

I had issues with that all the time: somehow the arks were to soft, and if 2-3 persons were sitting in the back and we put some bags to, the butt of the car was almost sitting on the ground. This was very bad when I went on some country roads... But now that issue is gone also... There are a few little things needs to be fixed, but one step at the time, those will come also!

After more than a year...

After more than a year of sitting in the garage, the days are numbered and my beloved Audi 80 will be on the road again. We bought a set of brand new all season Debica tires, the rust on the back wing was fixed and was painted now the back of the car is simply perfect, also the telescope and springs were changed, now the back of the car is lifted a little bit. I am telling you: this old lady looks more stunning than it looked when I bought it!!!
Soon there will be some photos for sure! Well the new tires won't be up until the winter season, and even a little bit later, because this set of tires is compatible with the other car, and because we will take a 3000 km road trip, we will use the take the new tires to that car, and after we are home switch it to the "right owner".
Also the car insurance policy was paid today, there are only one tax needed, and the car need to take it to be tested, but it is almost there to roll out with all its splendor.

One little thing makes me sad... that I am going to leave this car. Actually not just the car, but everything else, because I am moving away, and won't be able to take it with me. At least not for now. I let it to my parents so they can use it, and maybe if I am going to be rich one day I will be able to "refurbish" it to perfection. Maybe not... But definitely this particular car, this beautiful Audi 80 is the "love of my life" in cars.
