Oldie but goldie

Unfortunately I didn't had to much time to write about my beloved old Audi 80. But this doesn't mean I don't have this car... it is still working, getting older and older day by day and from time to time things get broken... but this can happen with a brand new Audi too... so I am not even nervous when once in a while something stops working on this car.

A few weeks ago we needed to change all the wheels, because one of them was so hardly damaged that it was not possible to fix it. We had a brand new set of tires in the garrage, so we changed all the 4. Now the car looks even prettier, because the tire holders? (have no idea how they are called, those metal things that the tires gets on...) are painted silver, not black as they was.

This weekend I drove 800 kilometers without big issues, where the road was very good it went with 140 km/hours... it is a good thing from a 22 year old car... Unfortunately when we arrived we noticed a small issue with the starting up kit... the car didn't wanted to start. My dad was there to help me out, and they managed to fix it until we come home and change the damaged piece. Now the Audi 80 starts with the key and we need to press a big ugly green button... but other than that it still works great. I am curious to see how much this piece will cost, and especially where I will find one original to replace it.
